The Theme is Enchantment. The reason I did this image for this contest is because to me, Enchantment can mean many things, one of which being people being able to bring themselves into another enchanting place in their head to help them deal with or cope in a stressful or traumatic situation. So for this piece I have tried to depict a woman in the service during war time, imagining herself in another world free of war, hate, death and all the things she's experiencing or seeing during the war. Taking herself to her own enchanting place that is safe and peaceful.
